How it Works
Start with the sauna to warm up your body and relax your muscles, aim for 10-15 minutes.
Take a shower
Transition to the ice plunge for a refreshing shock to the system, helping to reduce inflammation and re-energise, aim for 1-3 minutes.
Alternate between the two as desired 2-3 times per session
End your session feeling relaxed, balanced, and restored.
How to Prepare
Shower before your session and between the sauna and ice plunge to keep everything hygienic.
Bring:
- Two towels (one for sitting in the sauna and one for drying off after the ice plunge)

We offer a traditional sauna experience. Our sauna is heated using electricity, maintaining temperatures between 70°C and 90°C. You can customise your session by sprinkling water over the hot rocks to adjust the humidity, creating steam to suit your preference.
As the heat rises, your body begins to sweat, helping to release toxins, relax your muscles, and reduce stress.

Our sauna is located at 225 Kiewa Valley Highway, Tawonga South.
When you arrive, head down the driveway and turn left—you’ll see The Sanctuary container right in front of you.

No problem! We have towels available for rent for $3. Please make sure to add this option when booking your session..

Traditional saunas are safe for most fit and healthy individuals. However, if you have cardiovascular issues, low blood pressure, or heat sensitivity, we recommend consulting your doctor before booking a session.

Each session lasts approximately 50 minutes, which includes time for alternating between the sauna and the ice plunge.
We recommend 2-3 sauna and ice plunge sessions within the time.

Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations will incur a fee.
